Synopsis

Marbella, on Spain's famous Golden Mile, Milla de Oro, is often called the Florida of Europe. Where wealth accumulates, crime is never far behind. Everyone shares the same problem: they're sitting on mountains of cash that needs to be cleaned. Kristina Magnusson, a 45-year-old Swedish woman, owns a house in a charming Andalusian village.

An international money-laundering syndicate moves into the community. Their operations fuel a new real estate boom along the Costa del Sol while cryptocurrencies soar in value. Kristina's life takes an unexpected turn when she meets the syndicate's charismatic leader, attorney Paul Meier, who draws her into a world of extraordinary wealth and dangerous secrets.

Spanish Police Commissioner Pedro García faces great challenges as murder, corruption and international financial crime spread across paradise. Welcome to The Golden Mile.
